Fergal Sommerville has spent years preparing for this moment
An Irish long distance swimmer is planning a record-breaking swim around Inismor in the Aran Island's this month.
The 35 kilometre solo-swim against tides and weather, is expected to take between 12 and 14 hours to complete.
Dubliner Fergal Sommerville has spent years planning the swim - which is also raising funds for the RNLI.
He's been keeping up-to-date with recent reports of a Great White Shark off the Galway coast...
He says it wouldn't be his first 'jaws' encounter.
