Deliberations will continue on Monday
The jury at the trial of Jeffrey Donaldson have been sent home for the weekend and will begin deliberating again on Monday.
The seven men and five women have spent around seven hours considering the charges against the former DUP leader and his wife.
Judge Paul Ramsey sent the jury home at around 3:15pm today and asked them to return to the court on Monday morning to restart their deliberations.
Deliberations begun today at 1:45pm.
They deliberated for over three hours today and yesterday.
Jeffrey Donaldson denies 18 charges of historic abuse against two alleged victims, while his wife Eleanor Donaldson has pleaded NOT guilty to five charges of aiding and abetting and faces a trial of the facts.
