Public urged to stay safe
Fire Services in Kildare and around the country are expecting an 'action packed' weekend ahead, as Halloween festivities go into full swing.
They are urging the public to enjoy the weekend but to make sure to stay safe.
That includes not buying or using fireworks, only attending organised events, and if attending a bonfire to stay well back.
Assistant Chief Fire Officer with Dublin Fire Brigade, John Guilfoyle, says officers have to deal with routine incidents as well extra callouts due to Halloween:
