Man Arrested Following The Seizure Of €700,000 Of Herbal Cannabis At Dublin Airport

He has since been charged and is scheduled to appear at Court 2 of the CCJ this morning.

Gardaí have arrested a man following the seizure of €700,000 of herbal cannabis at Dublin Airport yesterday, Tuesday, 1st August 2023.

The drugs were recovered by Revenue Officers when the baggage of a disembarking passenger was searched.

A man (20s) was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in North Dublin where he was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

He has since been charged and is scheduled to appear at Court 2 of the CCJ this morning, Wednesday 2nd August 2023.
