There needs to be a change in culture in how young people view the use of fireworks.

That's according to one man who was injured by an exploding firework as a teenager.

The comments come as an appeal is made for the public to look out for elderly neighbours, after reports fireworks were being thrown through letterboxes of homes in Limerick.
