Ministers Set To Approve Plans To Abolish Triple Lock

The plans are set to be approved this morning

Ministers are set to approve plans to abolish the Triple Lock this morning.

Defence Minister Helen McEntee wants to remove the UN element - which gives Security Council members like Russia and the US the chance to veto deployments - and create a Double Lock instead.
