A man in his 20s died following a collision involving a car and a motorbike in Co. Louth this afternoon
The driver of the motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man in his 50s driving the car was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes in Drogheda as a precaution.
It happened on the R168 at Collon.
The road is currently closed to allow for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to Ardee Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line.
