Security cordons will be in place around the Convention Centre and National Gallery
Parts of Dublin city centre will be closed off next week as part of a significant security operation for the EU Presidency.
It will begin on Tuesday morning, running until Friday, as European heads of state fly into the capital for meetings.
Security cordons will be in place around the Convention Centre and National Gallery, resulting in road closures and disruption to Luas and bus services.
The meetings coincide with a public sector strike expected to happen on 12 November, while Gardaí are also striking on the same day.
