An Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Rome has been diverted to Paris after declaring an emergency.
There are reports it was sparked by a bomb threat.
The Guardian is reporting the French government has ordered the aircraft to land at an airforce base near Paris.
Earlier this week, several other bomb threats affected flights around Europe.
Aer Lingus flight EI 402 took off from Dublin airport at 6.24am this morning - heading to Rome.
Around 90 minutes into the flight - as they were travelling at 37 thousand feet over Normandy in France- the crew transmitted an international code indicating a general emergency on board.
The French government ordered the Airbus A320 to land at an airforce base in Evreux , which is north-west of Paris ... where it touched down safely just after 10 am.
Aer Lingus says its now working to re-accommodate customers to their final destination as soon as possible.
