A murder investigation's underway after a 23 year old man was shot dead in a gangland attack in Finglas in Dublin last night.
It happened just before 7pm, when a gunman called to the man's home at Barry Drive, opening fire and hitting him in the head and body.
The injured man was treated at the scene but pronounced dead at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, a short time later.
Local Fianna Fail Councillor, Keith Connolly, says it's a shocking development - and he's urging anyone with information to contact Gardaí at Finglas.
