The Government is trying to entice people to come and work in Ireland to address the significant skill shortage.

New work permits are available in areas like construction, HGV driving, factory work and hospitality for people outside the European Union.

Ireland has been experiencing a skill shortage as thousands of people returned to their home country during covid.
