The body which advises the government on vaccines also meets today to consider rolling out Covid vaccine boosters for health workers and the over 60s.
Currently only people over 80 and those over 65 in nursing homes can avail of a third jab.
The National Immunisation Advisory Committee will consider expanding the roll-out.
