Over 3.6 million Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Ireland.

The HSE says over 2.3 million people have received one dose, and 1.3 million have got two jabs.

Micheal Martin has told the Irish Independent "nothing can be guaranteed" because of the more transmissible strain.

He's also hinted the re-opening of international travel on July 19th will only apply to fully vaccinated people.

It dropped to 39 yesterday, compared to 110 on May 22nd.

The current number is the lowest in nearly 10 months, while only 13 Covid patients are in intensive care.

294 new cases of the virus were reported yesterday.
