More action needs to be taken to improve the employment opportunities for people with a disability.
That's according to the employers body Ibec which is proposing a series of measures that would help individuals.
The proposals include re-working and updating the current grant system and creating an online platform for all supports.

It also wants an extra 15 million euro provided for personal assistants support.
Ibec Head of Social Policy, Dr. Kara McGann says there are a number of barriers to people with a disability accessing employment opportunities:
