SIPTU members in the National Ambulance Service are set to strike next month.

It's part of a dispute over updating salary scales.

Members will hold a number of stoppages next month, with the first starting on the 12th of May for 24-hours.

The union's accusing the HSE of failing to implement recommendations from an independent report in 2020, on updating salary scales to reflect changes in staff's responsibilities and workload over the past 20 years.
