SIPTU is expressing concern over a US multi-national company moving its headquarters to Dublin, which it claims will undermine workers' rights.
The union will discuss the issue later this morning with European employee representatives from Verizon Communications Inc.

SIPTU is also highlighting the growing trend of companies based in other EU states and the UK, moving their headquarters to Ireland.
The union says this allows them to undermines workers' conditions of employment.
It says a change of legislation's needed to tackle the issue.
