A man in his 30s has been hospitalised with serious injuries after an alleged assault in Donaghmede in Dublin this morning.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his condition is described as serious but non-life threatening.
Three men in their 30s and 40s are currently detained at garda stations in north Dublin where they can be held for up to 24 hours.
