They both appeared before Dublin District Court this morning
Two men have appeared in court as part of an investigation into a criminal organisation.
55-year-old Paul Kelly of Cloverhill Road in Ballyfermot, Co Dublin and 63-year-old Noel Smyth of Kilanerin, Gorey, Co Wexford face a number of charges.
They include facilitating a criminal organisation, money laundering and possession of drugs for sale or supply.
Mr Smyth is also accused of importing drugs.
Dublin District Court was told the DPP has directed they be tried on indictment at the Special Criminal Court.
There were no applications for bail and both men have been remanded in custody to appear in court again next Friday.
