Vapers are warning the government people will return to smoking cigarettes if fruity flavoured vapes are banned.

According to a Red C poll, over 70% of ex-smokers say fruit flavours play a key role in helping them stay off cigarettes.

The proposed ban on fruity-flavoured and brightly coloured vapes aims to crack down on rising usage among young people.

Almost half of adult vapers say they will source flavoured vapes online or abroad if the ban comes into effect.
