A vigil to mark the 9th anniversary of the death of Savita Halappanavar is taking place in Dublin this evening.
The 31 year old, who was originally from India, died following complications from an incomplete miscarriage at University Hospital Galway in October 2012.
Her death sparked a number of protests and demonstrations across Ireland, as well as at Irish embassies in London, Berlin and Brussels.
