Aoife O'Rourke And Shannon Sweeney Have The Chance To Win Gold

Both were victors in their division and will no box for gold at the European Championships

Aoife O’Rourke and Shannon Sweeney will both have the chance to box for gold at the European Championships.

O’Rourke beat Turkey’s Busra Isildar by split decision to advance to the middleweight final.

And Sweeney was a unanimous decision victor over Anush Grigoryan of Armenia in the light-flyweight semi-finals.

But both Kellie Harrington and Niamh Fay must settle for bronze having lost their respective lightweight and bantamweight semis.
