Brain injury charity Headway say Harry Maguire playing on at Fulham on Saturday was ‘concerning’.
The Manchester United defender appeared dazed after taking Rodrigo Muniz’s shoulder to the side of his head.
Maguire was then ordered to leave the field later in the game for treatment, which United claim was for a hand injury.
Headway have renewed calls for the introduction of temporary concussion substitutions and call for stronger concussion protocol in football.
