The Kerry star leads this year’s All-Star nominees after another standout season, with teammate Joe O’Connor and Donegal’s Michael Murphy also in contention.
David Clifford is in the running to become the first player to be named Footballer of the Year three times.
The Kerry forward, who won the award in 2022 and 2023, scored 8 goals and 62 points in the Championship this summer.
Clifford's teammate Joe O'Connor is also shortlisted for Footballer of the Year, alongside Donegal's Michael Murphy.
Murphy is among 10 All-Star nominees for the beaten All-Ireland finalists, with 12 counties represented across the 45-player list.
Kerry have nine players, with five each for Meath and Armagh, three for Monaghan, Louth and Galway, two for Dublin and Tyrone, and one each for Mayo, Down and Derry.
Armagh’s Oisín Conaty, Donegal’s Finnbarr Roarty and Galway’s Matthew Thompson are in the running to be named Young Footballer of the Year at the banquet at the RDS on November 7th
