The original deadline was 5pm this evening
The 5pm window to secure the future of Dundalk FC is to be extended for another 24 hours.
Owner Brian Ainscough had imposed a 5pm deadline to secure investment, allowing the club to see out the season.
Ainscough has not returned from the United States, despite the perilous nature of the club’s future.
It’s reported that he’s in talks with two groups about the potential sale of Dundalk.
