FAI Appoint John Martin As Their New Director Of Football

Martin was previously the Chief Executive Officer at Shamrock Rovers

The FAI have appointed John Martin as their new Director of Football.

Martin was previously the Chief Executive Officer at Shamrock Rovers and he succeeds Marc Canham in the position.

The FAI's CEO David Courell says he was the 'stand-out candidate' and will now 'drive' their 'long-term' vision for football in Ireland.

Shane Robinson has also been confirmed as Technical Director, with a focus on youth international teams and player development.
