France backrow Axelle Berthoumieu has been cited for an alleged bite on Aoife Wafer's arm during yesterday's Rugby World Cup quarter-final with Ireland.

Despite taking a 13-nil lead, Ireland fell to an 18-13 defeat at Sandy Park.

Maneu Feleu has also been cited for a dangerous tackle.

In yesterday's other quarter-final, England beat Scotland by 40 points to eight.
