The chairman of the Irish Athletic Boxing Association has departed the role to become head of Rowing Ireland's high performance team.
Niall O'Carroll is set to work with head of governance and planning.
He will take responsibility for leading the performance programme.
O'Carroll will also be tasked with delivering Rowing Ireland's strategy through to Olympic Games in 2028 and beyond.
