John Sullivan will take charge of the Athlone Town women's team for the rest of the season.
He's been put in charge of the Women's National League leaders following the shock resignation of Colin Fortune at the weekend.
Sullivan, a former player with Shelbourne and Dundalk, has worked with their men's side and was also an assistant at DLR Waves under Graham Kelly.
Sullivan's first match at the helm will be tomorrow's Europa Cup opening leg tie at Glasgow City tomorrow.
