Liverpool have announced their new Anfield Road Stand won't open until next year.
A phased re-opening had been planned with next weekend's match against Everton earmarked as the stadium's first potential full-capacity 61-thousand crowd.
Complications arose after the original contractors for the work entered adminsitration.
The club had already began selling tickets in the stand for the Merseyside derby - but those fans will now miss out.
