Maynooth have pulled off one of the biggest results in this year's Kildare Senior Football Championship, defeating Naas after extra time to reach their first county final since 1916.

Naas, winners of five of the previous six championships, led by four points at half-time, but Maynooth battled back to force extra time.
Substitute Cathal McCabe proved the hero, scoring a crucial goal seven minutes into extra time to turn the contest in Maynooth's favour.
Further scores from Neil Flynn, Niall O'Sullivan, and Kevin O'Donovan helped Maynooth secure a famous victory and end Naas's hopes of another county title.
Maynooth will now play either Celbridge or Sarsfields in the county final, with the second semi-final taking place in Newbridge this afternoon.
