Mayo County Board say they'll be sitting down with James Horan and his management team to "review the season and plan ahead".
Horan is heading into the fourth year of his second spell in charge of the Westerners, where they've reached two All-Ireland Senior Football finals.
Mayo G-A-A have also hit out at "a number of personal attacks on both players and team management" in the wake of their recent loss to Tyrone.
