A British record transfer fee of £111Million was agreed for the 21 year old Ecuador midfielder - but reports now suggest he wants to move to Chelsea.

The London club remain interested and could lodge another bid.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane is set to fly to Germany later today to complete his move to Bayern Munich.
