GAA
Kildare were beaten in the Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-final yesterday.
They lost out to Westmeath, 2-21 to 23 points in Tullamore.
In ladies football, Kildare were also beaten by Dublin, 2-14 to 1-11 at Parnell Park.
Kildare ladies won the Leinster under-16 A Final, beating Meath 3-10 to 5 points.
In camogie, Kildare also claimed the Minor B championship title with a 3-11 to 2-9 win over Laois.
There was a busy day of underage hurling action today.
In the Leinster under-20 quarter-finals, Kilkenny are beat Offaly, 5-23 to 1-10, while Wexford won 5-16 to 10 points over Laois.
In camogie, Waterford beat Kerry in the Munster senior semi-final, it's 5-23 to 7 points.
Soccer
In the League of Ireland Premier Division, there are five games down for decision, all kicking off at 5.
Sligo Rovers play St Pats.
Derry City are against Galway United.
Bohemians take on Shelbourne.
Shamrock Rovers play Drogheda United.
And Waterford are at home to Dundalk.
In the Premier League today, Chelsea are losing 2-nil to Nottingham Forest.
Everton are against Manchester City at 8, with major implications in the title race
In the Scottish Premiership, Hearts are home to the Rangers at 5.30
Rugby
In rugby, Bordeaux Begles booked their place in the Champions Cup final with a 38-26 win over Bath.
They'll face Leinster on the 23rd of May.
In the Challenge Cup, Montpellier (mont-pelly-a) are through to the final after a 18-12 win over the Dragons.
They'll play Ulster in the final on the 22nd of May.
Golf
In golf, Shane Lowry finished strong in the Cadillac Championship in Miami tied for 23rd on six-under-par. Lowry finished Round 4 with a 65.
Cameron Young won on 19-under, comfortably.
Kildare's Lauren Walsh finished tied for 61st at the Riviera Maya Open in Mexico.
Racing
In racing, at the Curragh, the 1.15, Immortal Guard won at 7/2, and Otherwordly second at 4/1.
In the 1.50, Velozee won at 4/1, What A Girl Wants was second, also at 4/1.
In the 2.25, Causeway won at 9/4, Andab was second at 13/2.
In the 3 o'clock race, Spinning Around won at 8/1, Green Carrera was second at 13/2, and Prevalence was third at 11/1.
And in the 3.35, Kensington Lan won at 14/1, Black Caviar Gold was second at 8/1, and Drop Dead Gorgeous was third at 10/1.
