SOCCER

England have booked their place in the  Women's World Cup final.

Sarina Wiegman's side have beaten Australia 3-1 in their semi-final in Sydney.

Ella Toone gave England the lead in the first-half, before a superb long-range effort from Sam Kerr brought the hosts level.

But second half goals from Lauren Hemp and Alessia Russo helped England take control.

The European Champions will play Spain in the decider on Sunday.

The UEFA Super Cup match takes place tonight.

Champions League winners Manchester City face Europa League champions Sevilla  in Athens.

Kick off is at 8pm.

On the transfer front, City are reported to have agreed a deal with Saudi side Al Nassr for defender Aymeric Laporte.

The Spanish centre back has two years left to run on his current contract in Manchester.

Chelsea are continuing to be busy in the transfer market.

They are understood to be close to signing Michael Olise  from Crystal Palace after activating the player's buy out clause.

The Pensioners have accepted an offer from Galatasaray for Hakim Ziyech.

The winger is expected to have a medical for the Turkish club today.

Ziyech's proposed move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr fell through in June due to an issue with his knee.

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah says the club's transfer business has been impressive this summer.

Goalkeeper David Raya has arrived on loan from Brentford, joining other incomings including Declan Rice and Kai Havertz.

After coming second in the Premier League last season, Nketiah says they are focused on an even better campaign.
