Kildare Hurling
It was a quadruple date weekend for Kildare hurlers, men and women footballers and camogie.
On Saturday evening, Kildare hurlers were home to 2024 All Ireland champions Clare, Kildare led 2-8 to 0-12 at half time.
Kildare goals were 2 in the first half from Cathal McCabe after four minutes - Jack Sheridan after 11 minutes, and the 3rd goal from a Jack Sheridan free last puck of the game.
That game finished with a final score of: Clare 27 points Kildare 3-14

Men's Football
Kildare footballers were away to Cavan yesterday.
The sides were level 5 points each at half time, but defeat for Kildare, as they lost by 16 points to 13 in very difficult conditions of wind and rain.
Kfm’s and McMahon Accountants Player of the Match was Ben Loakman for a second week in a row.
Ladies Football
Yesterday, Kildare were away to Dublin in Parnell Park.
Kildare led by 1-4 to a goal at half time but Dublin won by 3-5 to 1-8
Cork lead the Division 1 Table on 10 points, from Galway 9.
Dublin and Kildare are the bottom two on 3 and 1 point respectively.
Next up the Kildare Ladies and Men Footballers are at home to Meath provincially at the same time, at separate venues.
Camogie
In the Centra Camogie League Division 3A – Round 2, on Saturday, Kildare were away to Wicklow.
At half time, Kildare led by 8 points to a goal.
Final Score: Kildare 0-16 Wicklow 1-1.

SOCCER

RUGBY
Andy Farrell is being linked with a return to a former club after next years Rugby World Cup.
The French publication Midi Olympique reports the Irish head coach could return to Saracens, when his IRFU contract finishes after the World Cup in Australia.
Mark McCall recently left the English Premiership side after 15 years in the top seat there.
Farrell, who says he wants Ireland to be at their best in 18 months, following the Six Nations win over England, would be linking up with his son Owen, should the speculation be true.
Ireland have a down week, before welcoming Wales to Dublin on March 6th.
GOLF
The American Jacob Bridgeman won the Genesis Invitational in California last night.
Despite a final round of 72, he ended 18 under par.
That was just a shot ahead of Rory McIlroy, who carded a final round 67
Shane Lowry finished 7 under.
