Dublin v Mayo; Premier League Action today

Reigning All Ireland champions Dublin continue their quest for seven-in-a-row when they play Mayo in the first of this year’s semi-finals.

Mayo haven’t beaten Dublin in the Championship since the semi-finals of 2012.

Throw-in at Croke Park is at 6pm.


That is preceded by the first of this weekend’s semi-finals in the TG4 All Ireland Football Championship.

Galway set up an All Ireland Minor Hurling final with Cork last night by beating Kilkenny 23 points to 1-12.

While Tyrone beat Donegal to be crowned Ulster Minor football champions, and they’ll also face Cork in the All Ireland semi-finals.

Arsenal’s Premier League season got off to the worst possible start last night.

Mikel Arteta’s side were beaten 2 nil away to newly-promoted Brentford.


Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says 85 million euro signing Jadon Sancho will play some part in their lunchtime game at home to Leeds.

Record signing Romelu Lukaku won’t be involved for Chelsea at home to Crystal Palace from 3.

Leicester will hope to mount another Champions League challenge, starting with the visit of Wolves.

St. Pat’s moved level on points with Shamrock Rovers at the top of the SSE Airtricity Premier Division last night.

They were 2-1 winners at home to in-form Waterford.

This evening sees Longford Town play host to Finn Harps.

Niall Kearney is just four off the lead heading into the penultimate round of the Cazoo Classic.

The Dubliner tees off from 4-under par today.

Jonathan Caldwell resumes on 2-under.

But the lead in Kent is held jointly by Dale Whitnell and Rhys Enoch.
