Sunday Sport: Three Kildare Teams Advance To Finals Yesterday.

Wins for the U20 footballers, senior hurlers and camogie team.

Three Kildare teams advanced to finals yesterday, while the women’s footballers will be hoping to follow suit this afternoon.

The U20 footballers defeated Sligo by 0-12 to 0-7 in Breffni Park, Cavan yesterday to reach the All-Ireland decider, where they will play either Kerry or Tyrone who meet today.

The hurlers are through to the Christy Ring Cup final, after a comprehensive win over Wicklow.

They defeated the Garden County in Aughrim on a scoreline of 5-25 to 3-10.

Elsewhere, the senior camogie team reached the Leinster final, after defeated Dublin in Abbottstown yesterday 0-16 0-12.

This afternoon, the senior ladies football team play Offaly in the semi final of the TG4 Leinster IFC.

Throw in in Manguard Plus Hawkfield is at 2pm and Kfm will have live updates with Tara Byrne.

The team was named earlier in the week and is as follows:

Manchester City have the chance to go three points clear at the top of the Premier League table if they beat Newcastle United today.

There's 4.30 kick off at the Etihad Stadium.

It's after Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield last night.

The Reds lead the table on goal difference.

Arsenal can move 4 points clear of Spurs in the race for fourth spot if they beat Leeds United this afternoon.

Kick off at the Emirates Stadium is at 2.

Everton can move out of the relegation zone if they win at Leicester City, while Norwich City host West Ham United.

After qualifying for the Europa League final midweek, Rangers welcome Dundee United to Ibrox for a 3pm kick off in the Scottish Premiership.

If Rangers fail to win then Celtic will be confirmed as champions.

Ferrari driver and championship leader Charles Leclerc (pr: Le claire) is on pole position for the Miami Grand Prix.

HORSE RACING

The Jessica Harrington-trained Real Appeal heads a field of six in this afternoon's Group Three Amethyst Stakes at Leopardstown.

The five-year-old won the Boomerang Stakes last September at the same venue on Champions' Weekend.

Ivy League represents Aidan O'Brien in the race while Ado McGuinness saddles Pretreville.

The race goes to post at five-past-five with the first of eight races off at 10-to-two.
