Three Irish show-jumpers are chasing medals at the Olympics.

The individual final is getting underway in Tokyo with Bertram Allen, Cian O'Connor and Darragh Kenny in action.

They all came through qualifying without incurring a fault yesterday.

Tanya Watson has booked her place in tomorrow morning's semi-finals of the 10-metre platform diving.

The 19-year-old, who is Ireland's first-ever female diver at the Games, was 16th in the prelims where the top 18 divers progressed.

Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow have both made steady starts in the women's golf.

Meadow birdied two of her last three holes is signing for a one-over-par round of 72.

Maguire went around one shot better and is five strokes behind the leader Madelane Sagstrom into day two.
