Tipperary are the Munster under-20 hurling champions for the second year in succession.

Brendan Cummins' team beat Clare by 3-19 to 1-20 last night to book their place in the All-Ireland final.

Dublin or Kilkenny await the Premier County in the decider after their respective wins in the Leinster semi-finals.

The Dubs were 2-18 to 17 points winners over Galway, while Kilkenny beat Laois by 26 points to 1-9.

The second major of the golf season gets underway later.

Quail Hollow in north Carolina is the venue for the PGA Championship, with Rory McIlroy one of the pre-tournament favourites.

The Masters champion tees off at 20-past-one Irish time, while Padraig Harrington is the first Irish player out on course at 12pm.

Seamus Power sets off just after 12.15, with Shane Lowry getting underway at 12.40.

Tom McKibbin is among the evening starters.

===
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has hailed the impact of Johnny Kenny after the Sligo native scored his first goal for the club last night.

The former Shamrock Rovers striker was on the mark in Celtic's 5-1 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

==
Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros (pr: fer-entz-var-osh) narrowly missed out on Hungarian Cup glory last night.

They lost 4-3 on penalties to Paksi (pr: pock-she) in the final at the Puskas Arena (pr: Push-cash).

Keane's side are still top of the league, meaning he can still claim silverware in his first season in charge.

RACING
There's racing in Clonmel this evening - the first in a seven-race card is off at 5.10.
