The news follows Igor Tudor's departure yesterday.

Tottenham are believed to be in discussions with Roberto De Zerbi over the club's vacant managers role following Igor Tudor's departure yesterday.

Spurs, currently battling to avoid relegation, have proposed a five-year deal to the former Brighton manager.

The club are keen to secure a long-term appointment after Tudor'S brief and difficult spell, which lasted just seven matches across 44 days.

They want the manager in place ahead of players returning from international duty.
