Republic of Ireland centre-forward Troy Parrott is now a doubt for October's World Cup qualifiers.

Heimir Hallgrimsson said that the knee ligament injury may put him out of the running for the trip to Portugal and the home game against Armenia.

Shamrock Rovers striker Johnny Kenny was called up as a replacement with Saturday's meeting with Hungary and the match in Armenia on Tuesday on the horizon.
