Tuesday Morning: Liam Cahill New Manager Of Tipperary Hurlers

Succeeds Colm Bonnar


Liam Cahill is the new manager of the Tipperary senior hurlers.

He succeeds Colm Bonnar, who left the role last week.

Cahill stepped down as Waterford boss last week after three years in charge.

He has previously guided the Premier County to All Ireland titles at underage level.

Bonnar's club Cashel King Cormacs have expressed their "great disgust" at the way Bonnar's departure was announced by the Tipperary County Board.


Shamrock Rovers' Champions League qualifying campaign continues this evening.

Stephen Bradley's side are in Bulgaria to take on Ludogorets in the first leg of their second round tie - kick off 6.45pm, Irish time.


The line-up for the quarter-finals of the Women's Euros has been confirmed.

Belgium will play Sweden in the last eight after a 1-0 win over Italy.

Elsewhere in Group D, France and Iceland played out a 1-1 draw in Rotherham.

The French had already secured top spot in the group prior to the game.
