Tuesday Morning Sport: GAA Confirm Kildare Hurlers Will Face Meath On Saturday In Newbridge

The GAA has confirmed Kildare hurlers Joe McDonagh Cup game with Carlow, will throw-in at 4pm on Saturday, in St. Conleth's Park, Newbridge.

Also on Saturday, the county's minor footballers begin their Leinster championship against Longford, throw-in at St. Conleth's Park at 12pm.

KFM will have coverage of both games.

On the club scene last night, the Reserve Football Leagues across all divisions took place.

Cathal McShane could be set to return to action for Tyrone ahead of their upcoming Ulster Championship campaign.

The former All-Star forward has been out since picking up an ankle injury in February of last year.

Joint-manager Fergal Logan says McShane is back in full training ahead of their opener against Cavan next month.

Carl Nassib has become the first active American football player in the NFL to come out as gay.

The Las Vegas Raiders defensive end told his followers on Instagram:

Sam Bennett has withdrawn from the Tour De France.

The Carrick-on-Suir man cited a knee injury yesterday as the reason for his absence from the upcoming tour.

Bennett took the Green Jersey is last year's race, winning two stages.
