A place in Sunday's World Cup final against Argentina is the prize on offer for France and Morocco, who play tonight in the second semi final at 7[,

Dayot Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot  are both doubtful for the defending champions.


Lionel Messi has admitted that Sunday's final in Qatar will be the last World Cup game of his career.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has sent Jadon Sancho to train in the Netherlands.

Ten Hag says that Sancho isn't 'physically or mentally' ready to play for the Red Devils at the moment.

Sancho last played in October and wasn't included in the England squad for the World Cup.

 

Shamrock Rovers striker Aidomo Emakhu has joined English Championship club Millwall for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old scored an important last-minute winner for the Hoops against KF Teuta in the UEFA Europa Conference League in August, as well as goals against Shkupi and Ludogorets.

Emakhu also broke into the Republic of Ireland Under-19 side

Andrew Conway, Jack O'Donoghue and Jack Crowley have agreed new contracts at Munster, but John Ryan will depart the province at the end of January.

Conway is yet to feature this season, having been sidelined since March with a knee injury. The 31-year-old has agreed a two-year extension until 2025.

Crowley and O'Donoghue have also signed on for two more years .

The province confirmed that John Ryan will depart Munster at the end of January, with the tighthead prop set to join New Zealand's Chiefs in Super Rugby in the New Year.

Having left Munster in the summer, Ryan returned to the province on a short-team deal in October when his contract at Wasps was cancelled following the Premiership side's financial crisis.
