World number one Jannik Sinner is safely through to the quarter-finals at the US Open.

The Italian beat Alexander Bublik in straight sets last night at Flushing Meadows.

In the women's draw, world number nine Amanda Anisimova got the better of Beatriz Haddad Maia to advance, while Naomi Osaka beat Coco Gauff.

Later today, Jessica Pegula and Barbora Krejcikova meet at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in the first of the quarter-finals.

In the men's draw, it's Carlos Alcaraz versus Jiri Lehecka.
