Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas are among his wildcard picks for the contest in Rome next month.

United States Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson has selected Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas among his wildcard picks for the contest in Rome next month.

Major winners Jordan Spieth and Collin Morikawa have also been chosen alongside Sam Burns and Rickie Fowler.

They join Scottie Scheffler, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Patrick Cantlay, Max Homa and Xander Schauffele in the side that will take on Europe.
