20 people are waiting in the Emergency Department
22 people were waiting on trolleys at 8am this morning, in Naas General Hospital.
According to the Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation, 468 people were awaiting beds throughout the country's hospitals.
Naas General Hospital say they have been experiencing a high level of attendances and admissions in recent days.
It means those presenting for emergency hospital care with non-urgent conditions are experiencing long waiting times
The Hospital are asking patients with non-emergency conditions to, where possible, seek assistance from other parts of the health service.
These are described as a GPs or local Pharmacists.
