Ballitore Garda Station is among them.
Over 40 rural Garda stations that were closed almost a decade ago have still not been sold.
Figures obtained by Social Democrats co-leader, Kildare North's Catherine Murphy show there are currently 78 vacant OPW buildings, 49 of which are former Garda stations.
This includes stations at Ballitore, and in Kildare's hinterland - Hollywood.
Deputy Murphy's told the Mail on Sunday the derelict stations should be used to help ease the housing crisis.
139 Garda stations were closed across the country between 2012 and 2013.
