Between the 1st of March 2020 & the 15th October 2022, 430 people died in Co. Kildare, due to Covid-19.
The county's death & mortality rate for the period was 193.3, per 100,000 of the population.
According to the Health protection Surveillance Centre, counties Mayo, Louth & Cavan have had the highest number of deaths, per 100,000 people, to date.
Mayo - 245.2
Louth - 228.9
Cavan - 211.4
Up until the 15th October, 2,615 people in Co. Dublin died due to the disease.
But the county had a similar rate, per 100,000 as Kildare, at 194.1.
Co. Sligo had the lowest rate of mortality, at 93.1.
61 people in the county, died due to the virus.
