The change in timetable and removal of the 4pm bus resulted in several school children being left with no way home from school in Naas.
The 4pm 885 bus service between Sallins and Ballymore Eustace will continue to operate.
The service had previously been cancelled following the extension of the 885 bus route to Baltinglass in mid-November.
